The agent of Inter Milan owned goalkeeper Andrei Radu feels that the Romanian is happy with the choice of joining Bournemouth on loan.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the 26-year-old’s agent Oscar Damiani gave his thoughts on his loan to the Premier League.

Last week, Radu officially made the switch to Premier League side Bournemouth on loan.

The Romanian will be hoping to kickstart his career after a mixed couple of seasons.

Radu has for some time looked like a player out of Inter’s plans.

Last season, he went out on loan with two clubs. First, the Romanian joined newly-promoted Cremonese.

Then, that loan was cut short as Marco Carnesecchi displaced Radu from the starting eleven at the Lombard club.

Over the second half of the campaign, Radu was at Ligue 1 side Auxerre.

This was a more positive spell for the 26-year-old, insofar as he gained more playing time as the undisputed starter.

Radu helped the French side retain their top flight status during a relegation battle over the second half of the season.

Agent: Happy With Andrei Radu Loan To Bournemouth

Next season, Radu will be hoping to prove his quality in the Premier League.

Bournemouth have brought him in to bolster their ranks for a second successive season in the English top flight.

The Cherries have appointed a new head coach in the form of ex-Rayo Vallecano coach Andoni Iraola. Radu will be among the reinforcements that the club make available to their new man in the dugout.

It won’t be easy for Radu to impress in the Premier League.

But for his part, Damiani believes that the Romanian has made the right choice to move where he has, and that he has everything that it takes to succeed there.

“The player is happy, and that’s the most important thing,” the agent said of the move.

“He’s a top player, and he has to fight to prove it there,” he continued.

“That the player is happy is the most important thing for me and for Crescenzo Cecere (an intermediary in the deal).”
