The agent of Inter Milan owned goalkeeper Andrei Radu feels that it’s been a positive season for the Romanian.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Radu’s agent Damiani noted that there’s plenty of time to think about the goalkeeper’s future at the end of the current season.

Radu is currently playing on loan with Auxerre in Ligue 1. The 25-year-old joined the French club during the January transfer window.

Over the first half of the campaign, Radu had been playing on loan at Cremonese. However, the Romanian left in search of more playing time.

As Cremonese CEO Ariedo Braida noted, Radu did not leave because the newly-promoted club were unhappy with his performances. Rather, the Inter-owned keeper faced the formidable competition of Marco Carnesecchi for a starting spot.

Carnesecchi is himself on Inter’s radar as a possible replacement for Chelsea-linked Andre Onana.

Radu has settled in well at Auxerre, which has proven to be the right place for him at the moment. Damiani has noted that the goalkeeper is happy with his current club.

The Inter-owned keeper has helped the Ligue 1 side stay in the French top flight after being threatened with relegation earlier in the season.

Damiani: Inter Milan Keeper Andrei Radu Has Had Positive Season On Loan

In the estimation of Damiani, Radu has had a positive campaign.

“He’s had a great season,” the agent said.

“Now we’ll evaluate his future calmly,” he added.

It remains to be seen what happens with Radu this summer.

Staying at Inter as a backup to Andre Onana doesn’t look overly likely.

However, whether the Romanian makes another loan move or leaves the Nerazzurri on a permanent basis is uncertain.

Whilst Auxerre won the race to sign Radu in January, he had looked very close to Saint-Etienne before then. Ligue 1 side Reims had also shown a strong interest in his suignature.
