West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca has accepted the offer to join Inter Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that the 24-year-old has said yes to join the Nerazzurri, who are now waiting to see if his club will be convinced by their offer.

Over the past few days, Inter have stepped up their pursuit of West Ham and Italy striker Scamacca.

The Nerazzurri have already made an offer for the former Sassuolo striker, which the Hammers turned down.

However, Inter’s bid was not miles off of what the Premier League club would consider accepting.

Sky confirms that West Ham are hoping for a fee of at least €30 million. This would be right around the amount that would allow them to not take a capital loss on the sale of Scamacca.

And Inter are ready to propose a €25 million fee, but with €5 million in add-ons.

With the inclusion of all the add-ons, this would more or less meet the Hammer’s demands.

Gianluca Scamacca Says Yes To Inter – Now Agreement With West Ham Sought

The Nerazzurri have been aiming to see off the competition of Roma to sign Scamacca.

The Giallorossi are keen to sign the Italian international. However, they can only offer West Ham a loan deal with a purchase option according to reports.

Meanwhile, earlier today reports suggested that Atalanta are also hoping to hijack Inter’s move for Scamacca.

However, there was no confirmation of these rumours. Moreover, an additional report indicated that La Dea deny interest in signing Scamacca.

In any event, Inter will be aiming to wrap up a deal for Scamacca soon as he appears to be the player they’ve settled on in their hunt for a striker signing for next season.

The agreement with the player is there now. Sky reports that he has given the green light for the move to go ahead.
