Inter Milan are ready to prepare an offer worth €35 million plus add-ons to sign Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are now going full speed ahead in their pursuit of the US international after their chase of Gianluca Scamacca fell through.

In the last week or so, Inter had seemingly turned their attention to Scamacca in their search for a striker.

However, the Nerazzuri will miss out on the signing of the 24-year-old West Ham United forward.

Atalanta are now on the verge of completing a deal for Scamacca for around €30 million.

This leaves Inter back to square one in a certain sense. However, it is not as though the Nerazzurri do not already have targets in mind to fill the position.

Inter Milan Ready To Make Formal Offer To Arsenal For Folarin Balogun

Another player who Inter have been looking at for a few weeks now is Arsenal striker Balogun.

The Nerazzurri had yet to really accelerate in their pursuit of the American. The focus on Scamacca in recent days saw them temporarily cool their interest.

However, Inter have already been exploring the possibility of moving for Balogun.

The US international would reportedly also be happy to make the switch, according to Tuttosport.

Now, the newspaper anticipates, Inter are ready to take the next steps. They aren’t going to wait around much longer.

Tuttosport report that Inter’s offer for Balogun will be around €35 million plus add-ons.

Much will then depend on how far away the Gunners’ asking price is.

That bid would be more than Inter were willing to pay for Scamacca.

However, the Nerazzurri only have so much money set aside to sign a striker. If Arsenal hold out for a very steep fee, Inter may have to look elsewhere.

In that event, Tuttosport report, Inter could decide to move for Udinese striker Beto.

Relations with the Friulani are good after recent negotiations for the transfer of midfielder Lazar Samardzic.
