Midfielder Lazar Samardzic could already make his Inter Milan debut in an upcoming friendly clash with Red Bull Salzburg.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 21-year-old is right on the verge of sealing his move and could already be on the pitch in a Nerazzurri shirt soon.

Samardzic is now truly an Udinese player in name only.

The agreement between the Nerazzurri and the Friulani is now total. The same is true of that of Inter and Samardzic and his representatives.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, in the past couple days, Inter have completely sealed the agreement with both Udinese and with Samardzic and his representatives.

Samardzic will sign a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri. Now, all that is left is the player’s medicals and then putting pen to paper on his contract with his new club.

Reports have suggested that that will happen early next week, possibly as early as Monday.

Lazar Samardzic Could Make Inter Milan Debut Vs Red Bull Salzburg

The Corriere confirm that Samardzic will almost certainly complete the switch by Tuesday at the latest.

The 21-year-old will arrive in Milan and then undergo his medicals. He will be an Inter player.

Then, the newspaper reports, Samardzic will waste no time in joining his new teammates in training.

The start of Inter’s Serie A season is now less than two weeks away. The Nerazzurri will kick off their campaign with a match against Monza at the San Siro.

Therefore, the squad have returned from their preseason tour of Japan and are working to use the next couple weeks of training as best they can to be prepared for that match against the Brianzoli.

Samardzic will be part of that effort soon.

And before Monza, there are a couple more friendlies soon.

According to the Corriere, there is even a chance that Samardzic will play in the next one. That will be against Salzburg on Tuesday.
