Former Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar feels that it was not hard to say yes to the offer to join PSG this summer.

Speaking to the French champions’ official social media channel, via L’Interista, the Slovakian gave the view that the French champions are a club on the up and up.

This summer, Skriniar signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old’s move came after his contract with Inter ran out at the end of June.

The Nerazzurri had attempted to persuade Skriniar to sign an extension and stay. However, in the end the former Sampdoria defender decided otherwise, rejecting the offer and waiting to join PSG.

Now, after six seasons wearing the Inter shirt, Skriniar is about to begin a new adventure in the French capital.

And for his part, the Slovakian is happy with his decision.

He feels that this has been the right time to make the switch to the Parisians.

Skriniar Opens Up About His Move From Inter To PSG This Summer

“I consider PSG one of the best and biggest football cubs in the world,” Skriniar said.

“It’s a club that’s growing year on year.”

The Slovakian continued that “There have always been great players here. We also have a great coach who wants to play good football, so my decision was very easy.”

“I’m happy to be part of this big PSG family,” Skriniar went on.

“The guys have been great to me, both the ones who had already been here and also the other new arrivals.”

“All of the staff who work for the club, everyone has been perfect.”

The former Inter defender also stated that “The training centre is amazing here. I’ve never seen a training centre like it, possibly not even on tv.”

Skriniar said of PSG’s training centre that “It’s truly breathtaking.”
