Inter Milan youngster Sebastiano Esposito is reportedly preparing himself for yet another loan stint, this time at Hellas Verona.

The striker joined the club’s youth sector back in 2014, making the move from Brescia.

He rose through the club’s ranks and even made some appearances for the first team during Antonio Conte’s tenure.

Nevertheless, the 21-year-old has embarked on successive loan stints since 2020. He spent time at Spal, Venezia, Basel, Anderlecht and most recently Bari.

According to L’Arena via FcInter1908, Hellas Verona are very close to finalizing the transfer of Esposito.

The Gialloblu barely escaped relegation last season. They maintained their spot in the top flight after overcoming Spezia 3-1 in a relegation playoff.

Therefore, Verona will offer Esposito the chance to prove his worth in Serie A on a weekly basis.

Inter Milan Starlet Sebastiano Esposito Is On The Cusp Of Finalizing A Loan Switch To Hellas Verona

The source adds that this will be a dry loan transfer. There was no room for negotiating a different formula.

Thus, Verona won’t have a clause that allow them to maintain the young striker beyond the next campaign.

This indicates that the Nerazzurri still have high hopes for their academy product.

So perhaps Esposito will manage to carve himself a place in Inter’s squad in 2024/25 if he delivers the goods at the Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium next season.
