Inter Milan are reportedly still looking to part ways with their midfielder Stefano Sensi.

The 28-year-old joined the club in the summer of 2019 on the back of an impressive stint at Sassuolo.

While his spell at the Giuseppe Meazza began on a delightful note, recurring injury problems derailed his progress.

The Italian spent the last 18 months on loan between Sampdoria and Monza. This summer, he rejoined Simone Inzaghi’s ranks.

The former Palermo man displayed encouraging displays throughout the pre-season.

He scored a lovely freekick against Lugano while also delivering the goods against Paris Saint-Germain and RB Salzburg.

However, this may not be enough to earn him another chance to prove his worth at the club.

According to Tuttosport via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri are still looking to offload Sensi before the end of the summer transfer session.

Despite parting ways with Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini, Inter Milan will still have a packed midfield next season.

The Nerazzurri signed Davide Frattesi last month while Lazar Samardzic could finalize his transfer today.

Therefore, Sensi could be surplus to requirements. So we shall see where he’ll end up by the end of the transfer session.

As we reported this morning, Inter tried to insert Sensi in a cash-plus-player offer for Marko Arnautovic.

However, Bologna reportedly rejected the bid, as their manager Thiago Motta isn’t looking for a player with Sensi’s characteristics.
