Inter Milan have been annoyed by the unexpected delay in the transfer of Udinese star Lazar Samardzic. Nevertheless, the final signatures should come today.

The 21-year-old has been in Milano since Wednesday evening. He expressed his delight with the imminent transfer.

The sources were expecting the youngster to ink his Nerazzurri contract on Thursday. But although he underwent his medical yesterday, the club is yet to announce the transfer.

As we reported yesterday, the delay is due to the player’s agent who didn’t arrive in Milano on time.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, this situation has annoyed Inter Milan officials, including club president Steven Zhang.

The source adds that Samardzic is waiting for the arrival of his agent, his father and a lawyer to sort out the final details of his contract.

Some of them could be looking to pocket commissions, as the report suggests.

Nonetheless, the pink newspaper still expects the Serbian to sign his contract on Friday and begin his new adventure at Appiano Gentile.

Samardzic remains in Milano, awaiting the final confirmation so he can join Simone Inzaghi’s pre-season preparations as soon as possible.

The 21-year-old was one of the main revelations in Serie A last season. He scored six goals and provided five assists in his 37 league appearances.

The youngster represented Germany in several age categories. But he eventually resorted to his Balkan roots, making his senior debut for Serbia earlier this year.
