Udinese star Lazar Samardzic has expressed his great happiness following his arrival at Inter Milan.

As we reported earlier today, the 21-year-old will undergo his medical before signing his contract with the Nerazzurri on Thursday.

The two clubs managed to reach a full agreement that will see the Serbian join Simone Inzaghi’s ranks.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan youngster Giovanni Fabbian is heading in the opposite direction. The 20-year-old Italian is simultaneously finalizing his transfer to Udinese.

This evening, Samardzic arrived to Milan ahead of his imminent transfer.

“I’m very happy. I’m ready to start,” these are the midfielder’s first words upon his arrival to Inter as revealed by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

Samardzic had stints with Schalke and RB Leipzig before joining Udinese in 2021. He enjoyed a stellar 2022/23 campaign, cementing himself as one of the most exciting young midfielders in Serie A.

The attacking midfielder previously represented Germany in almost all age categories before pledging his allegiance to Serbia at the senior level.

Udinese Midfielder Lazar Samardzic Revealed His Delight Upon Inter Milan Arrival

As the source reveals, tomorrow will be a busy day for the Nerazzurri. In addition to Samardzic, another new arrival will undergo his medical.

Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero is also on the verge of finalizing his transfer to the Beneamata.

The 26-year-old will serve as an understudy to Yann Sommer who signed for Inter earlier this week.

Therefore, club officials Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have been gradually plugging the gaps in the squad.

Nevertheless, the new striker debacle remains the club’s biggest dilemma.
