The entourage of Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic has given Inter Milan new demands, potentially causing transfer to collapse.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 21-year-old’s representatives have asked for both improved wages and higher agent commissions compared to the previous agreement.

Samardzic’s move to Inter no longer looks a “sure thing” after yesterday’s meeting between the Nerazzurri and the player’s entourage.

The issue was that Samardzic’s representatives asked for an eleventh-hour change to the terms of the deal before the midfielder would put pen to paper.

This angered Inter. The Nerazzurri made clear that they aren’t going to accept any changes to the deal, and threatened to walk away.

According to Tuttosport, Inter have given Samardzic and his representatives an ultimatum. They have 48 hours to either sign a deal on the previously-agreed terms, or he will not be joining.

New Financial Requests By Lazar Samardzic’s Entourage Revealed

The previous personal terms that Inter had agreed with Samardzic were mediated by agent Rafaela Pimenta.

But it was not Pimenta who showed up to the Nerazzurri’s headquarters yesterday. It was instead Samardzic’s father Mladen, who has taken over from Pimenta as his son’s primary representative.

The deal agreed via Pimenta’s mediation would see Samardzic earn around €1.8 million net per season.

That is the deal that the Nerazzurri are ready to sign the former RB Leipzig man on.

But according to Tuttosport, the player’s entourage want to change the deal so that Samardzic will earn €2 million net per season.

In addition to this, the newspaper reports, the player’s entourage also want higher agent commissions.

Even despite the fact that Pimenta is no longer leading negotiations, they are expecting Inter to agree to pay more in commissions.

This is the situation that has led to a sudden and unexpected impasse in the negotiations. However, Inter have no intention of acquiescing to any of the new demands.

The Nerazzurri will only sign Samardzic if it is on the terms that they already agreed with Pimenta representing the player.
