The agent of Carlos Augusto has confirmed that the wingback has signed for Inter Milan, also updating on Stefano Sensi.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, Italian agent Beppe Riso gave updates on the future of two of his clients.

The transfer window ends in a little over two weeks. Meanwhile, Inter’s Serie A season begins next Saturday.

Inter still have some transfer business left to do. But according to agent Riso, they are making possible progress on two fronts.

Riso Confirms Carlos Augusto Has Signed For Inter Milan

First of all, Inter have wrapped up the signing of a new left wingback.

The Nerazzurri have signed 24-year-old Carlos Augusto from Monza.

Augusto was in Milano for his medicals today, and according to Riso, the Brazilian has already put pen to paper on his deal.

Carlos Augusto has signed his contract,” the agent confirmed. “He’s extremely happy.”

Meanwhile, Robin Gosens is reportedly on the verge of leaving Inter. Augusto is the player the Nerazzurri have decided on to replace the German.

Sensi Could Stay At Inter, Riso Says

Meanwhile, Riso also answered a question about another of his clients, midfielder Sensi.

The 28-year-old is currently under contract with Inter.

Whils the expectation has been that the Nerazzurri would offload Sensi this summer, that no longer looks to be a foregone conclusion.

The reason for this is that a deal for Lazar Samardzic looks to be on the verge of collapsing.

Therefore, Inter will need one more midfielder to complete the depth chart. And keeping Sensi in the squad would certainly be a convenient solution to do exactly that.

Of the midfielder, Riso said that “Sensi played thirty matches last season. He’s looking more like the Sensi from his first season here.”

“Inter are happy to see that.”

And about the former Sassuolo midfielder’s future, the agent said that “There’s a decent chance he’ll stay at Inter.”
