Inter Milan will hold last ditch talks with the entourage of Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic tomorrow.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will make one final effort to see whether a transfer would be possible – these talks will be truly “take it or leave it.”

Samardzic’s move to Inter isn’t quite dead in the water yet. However, it’s seemingly not far away.

The situation has become a circus behind the scenes, as what Inter thought was a set-in-stone agreement on personal terms for the move has turned out to be anything but.

From the Nerazzurri’s perspective, the stance has always been clear and has never wavered. They want to sign Samardzic on the terms agreed via the mediation of agent Rafaela Pimenta.

However, the 21-year-old’s representatives appear to have little intention of sanctioning such a deal.

Therefore, there is much more reason for pessimism than for optimism.

Nevertheless, FCIN report, Inter will make one more attempt to extend the olive branch in talks with Samardzic’s representatives. There will be one more effort to contact the Serb’s entourage and straighten things out.

Inter To Hold Last Ditch Effort With Samardzic’s Representatives – Sensi Looking Like Alternative

Tomorrow’s talks will be “take it or leave it” according to FCIN.

If the situation remains as it has been for the past couple days – with Inter digging in their heels on the previously-agreed deal and Samardzic’s representatives insisting on holding out for new financial requests, then there will be no move for Samardzic to Inter.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are starting to think about alternatives.

And according to FCIN, keeping Stefano Sensi would be a very concrete possibility.

The outlet notes that the player’s agent Beppe Riso has made no effort to hide the possibility. And if Samardzic doesn’t join Inter, then Sensi will at least likely be in the squad to face Monza on Saturday.
