Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez turned 26 yesterday.
The Argentine is now entering his sixth season with the Nerazzurri.
This summer, Martinez became Inter’s captain. He succeeds Samir Handanovic in the role.
And the sense is certainly that the 26-year-old will only grow in importance to Inter over the season.
Having finished each of the past two seasons as Inter’s top scorer, he scored both goals in the team’s Serie A opener against Monza.
