Former Udinese, Barcelona and Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez has reportedly signed a contract with Inter Milan, sealing his return to the club.

The 34-year-old spent three campaigns with the Nerazzurri. He joined the club in 2019 following a forgettable spell at Manchester United before leaving towards Marseille last summer.

But despite an impressive season in Ligue, the Southern French side opted against maintaining the striker’s services.

Thus, the veteran has been unattached and waiting for a call from the Nerazzurri. Finally, Joaquin Correa’s expected arrival at OM has unlocked the Chilean’s return to Appiano Gentile.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Sanchez has now signed his contract Inter. The only thing missing is the official confirmation from the club. But it arrive imminently.

As the source explains, the veteran attacker penned a contract for a solitary campaign. He will collect a net salary of 2.8 million euros in addition to bonuses.

The former Arsenal star has already underwent his medical tests on Friday morning.
