The agents of Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard have given assurances to Inter Milan that the player’s transfer will go through.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that representatives of the 27-year-old have made clear that the delays in his move to the Nerazzurri are only temporary.

Time is increasingly of the essence in Inter’s move to sign 2018 World Cup winner Pavard.

What is not in doubt is that the Nerazzurri have agreed on a fee with his club Bayern.

Inter are ready to pay €30 million plus €2 million in add-ons for Pavard. This despite the fact that the Frenchman’s deal with Bayern runs out at the end of next June and he has no plans of signing an extension.

However, the process of signing Pavard has hit some snags for Inter.

The reason for this is that Bayern have yet to give the go-ahead. This despite Inter having hoped to already complete the deal by now.

Agents Of Benjamin Pavard Reassure Inter Milan – Transfer Only A Matter Of Time

The reason for the delays on Bayern’s end have simply concerned the Bavarians’ ongoing search for a replacement.

Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel has made his stance clear. He does not want to let go of Pavard until a suitable replacement arrives.

Reports suggest that the German champions are now in for out-of-favour Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, formerly a target of Inter.

But in any event, the timing of all this – just days before the transfer window closes – has caused some stress for Inter.

However, Pavard’s representatives have attempted to ease the tension.

Sky reports that the 27-year-old’s agents have contracted the Nerazzurri. They’ve told them that his move will go ahead one way or another.

Pavard himself has a strong determination to join Inter. The former Stuttgart defender is now skipping training with Bayern as he waits for his club to give the green light to join Inter.
