Defender Benjamin Pavard will undergo his medicals on a move to Inter Milan tomorrow after arriving in Milano tonight.

This according to Bild journalist Tobi Altschaffl, who reports in a tweet that the two clubs have agreed on a fee of €30 million plus €3 million in add-ons for the 27-year-old after a phone call between their respective CEOs.

After more than a week of Inter waiting for the green light from Bayern, it has finally arrived.

Pavard is now on his way to Milano. The player has always made his desire to join the Nerazzurri clear, and he will be getting his wish.

According to Altschaffl, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta called his Bayern counterpart Jan-Christian Dreesen yesterday. The pair worked out the deal once and for all.

Benjamin Pavard On The Verge Of Becoming An Inter Milan Player

Pavard will arrive in Milano shortly.

Everything is ready for the former Stuttgart defender to complete the transfer.

The two clubs have agreed on the fee, which Altschaffl reports to be €30 million plus €3 million in add-ons.

Moreover, Pavard has agreed his contract with Inter. The Frenchman will sign a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri, although Altschaffl does not report the wages that he will earn across the duration of that contract.

Pavard should join with plenty of time to be in the squad for Inter’s Serie A match against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Then, the Frenchman will also be an Inter player for the first Milan derby of the season. That will come after the September international break.

Pavard joins to replace defender Milan Skriniar.

The Slovakian left for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer after his contract with the Nerazzurri ran out at the end of June.

Inter had already shown an interest in Pavard as early as during the January transfer window.

However, it is now, with a few days to spare before the summer window closes, that they’re getting their man.
