Benjamin Pavard will complete his move to Inter Milan from Bayern Munich imminently.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri have gotten the go-ahead from Bayern to sign the Frenchman, and that he will be in Milano this evening.

The transfer saga between Inter, Bayern, and Pavard has dragged on for over a week now.

But now, it has finally reached its conclusion. The Nerazzurri will complete the signing of the former Stuttgart defender very soon.

There are only a few days left in the transfer window.

Therefore, Inter have naturally been pushing to finally get the deal over the line.

For their part, Bayern have always wanted to seal the deal. The German champions already came to an agreement on a fee with Inter more than a week ago.

However, the key issue has always been that Bayern have only wanted to sell Pavard after securing a replacement.

But Inter gave the Bavarians an ultimatum – it’s now or never.

Done Deal – Benjamin Pavard Move To Inter Milan Now Imminent

Today, Inter and Bayern held more talks to try and finally get the deal over the line.

And according to the Gazzetta, the Bavarians have finally given Inter the go-ahead.

Pavard will travel to Milano this evening. Everything is ready to go as far as the formalities of the move.

Pavard will undergo his medicals, and then he can sign his contract as an Inter player.

Having missed out on Inter’s first couple matches of the season, the 2018 World Cup winner should be part of the Nerazzurri’s squad for their Serie A match against Fiorentina next Sunday.

For his part, the player is by all accounts keen on the move.

Pavard reportedly went on “strike” by missing several training sessions to put pressure on Bayern to make the move happen.
