Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi, forward Alexis Sanchez, and midfielder Stefano Sensi will all miss the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it. Sensi is carrying a minor injury and will be absent as a precaution, but nothing more than that.

Inter’s Serie A season is now well underway. The Nerazzurri will play their third match of the season against Fiorentina after 2-0 wins against Monza at home and then away to Cagliari.

Reportedly, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will name the same starting eleven from those two matches.

There will be three major fitness doubts in the Nerazzurri’s squad, and according to the Gazzetta, all three will miss out.

However, in none of the three instances is there a particular worry. Rather, there are simply doubts regarding whether the trio will be match-fit enough to play.

Acerbi, Alexis & Sensi To All Miss Out On Inter Vs Fiorentina Serie A Clash

In the case of defender Acerbi, the 35-year-old has been out for the beginning of the season so far.

The problem has been a calf problem that the veteran former Lazio and Sassuolo defender had picked up during preseason training.

The issue is not a long-term injury. However, the Gazzetta report, Acerbi will once again be out of Inter’s squad as a precuation.

Therefore, it will be Stefan de Vrij starting in the middle of the Nerazzurri’s backline once again.

The Dutchman had also started in Inter’s matches against both Monza and Cagliari.

Meanwhile, the problem for forward Sanchez is nothing more than match-fitness.

Considering the Chilean had not trained for several weeks with other players before completing the move back to Inter, there are doubts about whether he would be in the right condition to get out on the pitch.

Lastly, the Gazzetta reports, there are no real worries with Sensi.

However, the 28-year-old will not be part of tomorrow’s matchday squad, as a precaution.
