Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez feels that he is right at his very best at the start of the season.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN after yesterday’s Serie A win over Fiorentina, via FCInterNews, the 26-year-old also praised the summer business that city rivals AC Milan have done, and declined to comment on the controversial situation with Romelu Lukaku.
Martinez has continued his blazing start to the 2023-24 Serie A season.
The Argentine has now scored a total of five goals from the team’s first three matches of the season.
This is certainly an early warning shot in the race for the league’s top scorer.
Now wearing the captain’s armband at Inter, Martinez has shown that he can be the team’s driving force yet again, as he has done over the past couple of seasons.
