Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will aim to get his squad rotation and approach right to set the pace in the Serie A title race.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, highlight how the Nerazzurri coach could potentially steward his team to four more wins before the next international break, though only if he gets his tactics right.

Inter will play four more times in Serie A before the October international break.

The first of those four matches comes away to Empoli tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri will not be underestimating the Tuscans’ quality – particularly not after they suffered defeat against that opposition at the San Siro yesterday.

But the fact remains that Empoli have not taken a single point so far this season ion Serie A.

Moreover, the last result for the Azzurri was a 7-o demolition job at the hands of Roma.

Therefore, it would be fair to say that tomorrow’s match is a winnable one for Inter.

And there will undoubtedly be a temptation for Inzaghi to switch his team up a bit, giving some key squad members a rest.

Inter Milan Coach Simone Inzaghi Can Set The Pace In Serie A Title Race

Inter’s three matches after tomorrow will also come against beatable opposition, at least on paper.

The Nerazzurri face Sassuolo at home, Salernitana away, and then Bologna at home before the break.

This sequence is an early test of Inter’s title credentials. Arguably just as much as the Milan derby or any other matches against direct rivals.

Last season, the Nerazzurri didn’t have the right balance to go on a winning run in these kinds of stretches.

This time around, Inzaghi will have to get the balance right. The coach will have to keep the team fresh. This while also putting out a team that can take maximum points match in and match out.

If the coach can do this, then the Nerazzurri could go into the international break in firm control of the title race.
