Inter Milan Midfielder Davide Frattesi Has Suffered A Slight Muscle Strain

The Italy midfielder took the field against his former club Sassuolo last Wednesday. He entered the pitch as a second-half substitute, but couldn’t help the club avoid their first defeat of the season.

The Nerazzurri will travel to Salerno today for a meeting against Salernitana on Saturday night. Therefore, Frattesi might have to skip the southern trip.

The 24-year-old joined the club’s ranks in the summer, completing a switch from the Neroverdi.

He has thus far made seven appearances throughout all competition, only one as a starter. His cameos saw him score a goal in the 5-1 demolition of AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.

He also provided Lautaro Martinez with the assist for the late equalizer against Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

Frattesi has seven caps to his name with the Italian senior team. He scored three international goals in the process. This includes a brace against Ukraine in the recent international break.
