Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a contract renewal offer for their star wingback Federico Dimarco.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the club’s management is looking to confirm the superb trident on the left side, the one that features Dimarco, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alessandro Bastoni.

The latter had already earned a contract extension last season. Thus, the club will now have to secure the future of the Italian wingback and the Armenian veteran.

As the source reveals, the Nerazzurri are very close to reaching a full agreement with Dimarco.

The 25-year-old currently has a contract that runs until 2026. The new deal could push back the expiry date until 2028.

The pink newspaper expects the Italy international to earn 4 million euros per season.

Dimarco is a childhood Inter fan who used to attend the club’s matches at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

This, in addition to his ever-improving displays, rendered him a fan favorite amongst the club’s supporters.
