Torino will be without defender Kofi Djidji and wingback Brandon Soppy due to injury in their Serie A match against Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also anticipates that defender Alessandro Buongiorno may be fit for the match, but not necessarily enough to start.

The international break is currently ongoing.

However, it won’t be long at all before Serie A is back, with Inter returning next Saturday. They will travel to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in Turin to face Torino, with kickoff set for 18.00 CET.

For Inter, the fact that the Nerazzurr dropped points in two out of their three matches going into the break underlines the need to take three points and get back on trsck.

Meanwhile, the Granata are winless in their four matches before the break. Therefore, a failure to take three points against Inter would make it five in a row.

And 2-0 losses to Lazio and Juventus have also dented Torino’s confidence.

Naturally the last thing that the Granata would want is another emphatic loss against one of the league’s big sides.

Torino Duo Djidji & Soppy To Miss Serie A Clash Vs Inter

As far as injury misses go, Inter will still be without striker Marko Arnautovic.

The Austrian may well be able to return some time in early November. But there would be absolutely no chance of seeing him against Torino next week.

And for Torino, there will be at least two players absent through injury.

One is to defender Djidji. The 30-year-old Ivorian international has missed the first part of the season recovering from a serious knee injury.

Tuttosport report that Djidji will still not be ready to play next Saturday.

And wingback Soppy will also be out with a hamstring injury that he picked up at the start of this month.

The 21-year-old Frenchman will not recover in time to play against Inter.

As far as the fitness of defender Buongiorno, Tuttosport anticipate that the 24-year-old will be fit to appear on the bench next Saturday.

However, whether he will be able to start is a much different question.
