Inter Milan are seriously considering a move for Chelsea striker Armando Broja during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that Porto’s Mehdi Taremi is the Nerazzurri’s main target but that Broja is also on their radar.

At the moment, Inter are taking a long and hard look at their attacking options.

Whilst there are few doubts about Lautaro Martinez or Marcus Thuram, things look a bit thin on the ground after the starting pair.

Marko Arnautovic’s injury has raised doubts about the extent to which the Austrian can contribute.

And so far this season, Alexis Sanchez has yet to really find his form.

Therefore, the Gazzetta report, Inter are seriously considering dipping into the market as early as January.

The newspaper notes that Porto’s Mehdi Taremi is the Nerazzurri’s top target in this respect.

Inter could go after the 31-year-old Iranian international once the January window opens. Or they could try to sign him on a free transfer next summer.

But there is another name that Inter are considering for January – that of Chelsea striker Broja.

Inter Considering Loan Move For Chelsea Striker Armano Broja

Albanian international Broja has been on Inter’s radar since he was on loan at Vitesse.

And the Nerazzurri are still considering the young Chelsea striker as a possible January option given their issues in attack.

Inter would only aim to sign Broja on loan, the Gazzetta reports.

And Chelsea could be amenable to this possibility.

The Premier League giants’ main consideration as far as Broja goes would be getting playing time for the 22-year-old.

There are some questions surrounding whether Broja will start regularly for Chelsea over the rest of the season.

Therefore, the Blues could sanction a loan move to Inter for the Albanian.
