Inter Milan superstars Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella received the highest ratings following their positive cameos against RB Salzburg.

The Nerazzurri secured qualification for the Champions League knockout stages after seeing off the Austrian champions away from home.

The Argentine striker and Italian midfielder both started on the bench as Simone Inzaghi opted for squad rotation.

However, the Italian giants had to resort to their star duo for inspiration.

The two Nerazzurri stalwarts combined to deliver the solitary goal of the evening. Barella’s shot struck an opponent’s arm inside the box. This resulted in a spot kick successfully converted by Lautaro.

So according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Inter captain earned the highest rating (7.5/10).

Barella wasn’t too far behind. He received a relatively high grade (7). The same goes for Marcus Thuram.

Yann Sommer had a rating of 6/10 after collecting another clean sheet. Yann Bisseck received a similar score on his full debut.
