Inter Milan have reportedly contacted San Lorenzo, enquiring over the services of young right-back Agustin Giay.
The 19-year-old is a youth product of the Argentine club who climbed the ranks to become a pillar with the first team. He has been a member of the senior squad since July 2022.
This season, the teenager made 40 appearances for the club across all competitions, including the Argentine League and the Copa Sudamericana.
The fullback has also established himself as a stalwart with Argentina U20. He has 13 international caps to his name and scored one goal in the process.
According to TNT Sports via FcInterNews, Inter have made the first contact with San Lorenzo for the young wingback.
As the source tells it, the player’s contract contains a release clause worth 14 million euros. Giay’s deal with the Argentine side runs until December 2025.

Nevertheless, the report claims that San Lorenzo may accept a lower price to part ways with their youth product.
Therefore a figure of 8 million dollars (or circa 7.3 million euros) could prove sufficient.
As we reported yesterday, the Nerazzurri consider Giay as a potential replacement for Juan Cuadrado on the right flank.
Nevertheless, the sporting director of San Lorenzo explained that the club will elect a new board next month. Thus, he delayed all transfer talks to December.
