Inter Milan veteran Henrikh Mkhitaryan reportedly has a two-year contract renewal awaiting him.

The well-traveled midfielder represented some of the biggest clubs in Europe throughout a glamorous career. He played for the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Arsenal.

After spending three campaigns with AS Roma, the Nerazzurri managed to snap up his services on a free transfer in 2022.

The 34-year-old initially signed a two-year contract that will expire at the end of the season.

But after cementing himself as a regular feature in Simone Inzaghi’s starting line-up, Inter have no plans of parting ways with him in June.

According to Sky Sport Italia via FcInter1908, the Serie A giants have prepared a contract extension for the experienced midfielder.

As the source tells it, renewing the Armenian’s stay at the club is a priority for the management.

Therefore, Mkhitaryan should soon sign a new two-year contract.
