Inter Milan have reportedly sent scouts to monitor young Hannover midfielder Muhammed Damar.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Nerazzurri have set their sights on the Germany U20 starlet who became the latest name on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist.

As the source explains, Inter are mixing it up on the market. The club’s policy is to poach established players while simultaneously bolstering their youth ranks.

The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder blessed with excellent technique and impressive physical strength.

As the source tells it, the youngster has the ability to play with both feet. He also possesses brilliant free-kick skills, which made him a hit on YouTube.

Damar has already represented a host of German clubs despite his tender years. He spent time at the youth sectors of Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt amongst others.

Inter Milan Are Tracking Young Hoffenheim Starlet Mumammed Damar

In 2022, he signed for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and remains on the club’s books. His contract with the Bundesliga club runs until 2026.

However, the teenager is spending the current campaign on loan at Hannover. He made two brief cameos in 2. Bundesliga (Germany’s second-tier league).

While he was born in Berlin, Damar is of Turkish origin. Therefore, the source claims that Turkiye coach Vincenzo Montella is trying to convince the player to switch allegiance at the international level.

The talented attacking midfielder had also represented the German national team at the U18 and U19 levels before making his debut with Germany U20 last month.

He has one goal to his name from two caps with the U20 national team.
