Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez receives major praise from his agent Alejandro Camano who hopes to find an agreement over a new contract.
The 26-year-old has been growing from strength to strength since joining Inter Milan in 2018.
In the summer, he inherited the captaincy following the departure of Samir Handanovic and other senior members of the squad.
Since then, he’s been on spectacular form, scoring 14 goals in 16 appearances across all competitions.
For his part, Camano lauds his client not just for his qualities on the pitch, but also for his values.
The agent considers it an honor to represent the Nerazzurri star.
“Lautaro deserves a 10 as a vote for himself. And another 10 as a vote for his family,” said Camano in his interview with Tuttosport via FcInterNews.
“Furthermore, we are talking about one of the top three central attackers in the world.
“So I assure you that for me, who have an experienced career as a players’ agent, it’s truly an incredible honor to be able to represent him.
“For me, he encompasses all those values that I would like to see in a son. He is good, honest, and supportive.
“I believe that this is also why Inter entrusted him with the captain’s armband. I have always thought he was a player different from the others. Lautaro gives and commands respect.”
Camano reveals that he was eager to become Lautaro’s agent, especially after hearing the words of his former Inter teammates Achraf Hakimi and Borja Valero.
“I wanted to represent a footballer like him also because of what Hakimi and Borja Valero told me.
“They too already thought a while ago that he could become one of the three best strikers in the world.
“Where can Lautaro go? Wherever his dreams take him. At the moment his dream is called Inter.”
The Agent Of Lautaro Martinez Expects To Reach An Agreement With Inter Milan Over New Contract Without Problems
The agent is hoping that his client receives a satisfactory proposal from the club regarding a new contract.
“We are negotiating to receive a proposal that can satisfy Lautaro. It’s not easy, in the sense that it’s not an overnight thing, but we are working to reach a positive agreement. I don’t think there will be any problems.”
Finally, Camano insists that the Argentina star was never interested in a move to the Saudi Pro League.
“Lautaro embodies the values of Inter, so we are all happy and we hope to be able to reach an agreement with the Nerazzurri.
“Ballon d’Or? God willing! It would be a huge joy for all those who want to see him happy, as well as a worldwide recognition for him. I believe he is on the right path.”
