The president of the Albanian Football Federation insists that Lecce midfielder Ylber Ramadani is good enough to play for Inter Milan.

The 27-year-old joined the Southern Italian club in the summer as a replacement for their former captain Morten Hjulmand.

Since then, the Albanian has established himself as one of the best revelations of the Serie A campaign.

The defensive midfielder has been omnipresent for Lecce, starting all 14 fixtures across all competitions.

Ramadani currently operates as a deep-lying playmaker in Roberto D’Aversa’s 4-3-3 formation.

A few weeks ago, the player himself revealed that his agent had already discussed a potential transfer with Inter directors.

For his part, the president of the Albanian FA Armand Duka believes that Ramadani has what it takes to make it with the Nerazzurri.

“Ramadani has surprised everyone at the start of the season, but not me. I know his potential very well,” said Duka in his interview with Sportitalia via FcInterNews.

“His quality is indisputable and he is demonstrating it not only with Lecce, but also in the Albanian national team.

“He works a lot and He always gives his all on the pitch.”

Albanian FA President Encourages Inter Milan To Sign Lecce Star Ylber Ramadani

“Personally, knowing his qualities and ambitions as a player, I think he is ready for any club in the world.

“It would also be a great pride for us to see two Albanians playing in the ranks of a big and historic club like Inter.”

The Nerazzurri already have an Albanian international within their squad in the shape of Kristjan Asllani.

As for Ramadani, he represented Kosovo at the U20 and U21 levels before switching his allegiance to Albania. He now has 32 senior caps under his belt.
