Referee Marco Di Bello will be in charge of Saturday evening’s Serie A match between Inter Milan and Udinese.

The Lega Serie A confirm the entire list of match officials for the round of fixtures, via FCInterNews. Paolo Mazzoleni will be on VAR duty for the match at the San Siro.

This Saturday, Inter host Udinese in their fifteenth match of the Serie A table.

The Nerazzurri go into the encounter top of the league table. They took back top spot from Juventus with a 3-0 statement win over Napoli on Sunday.

So Inter certainly go into this weekend’s match with the wind in their sails.

But there is certainly good reason for the Nerazzurri not to underestimate this Udinese team.

The Friulani are currently fighting off relegation. They are out of the bottom three, but not with the kind of buffer that they would like.

And Sunday’s 3-3 draw against eighteenth-place Hellas Verona at home – in a match that Udinese had been leading up until the 97th minute, will certainly leave them angry and wanting to respond.

So whilst Inter are undoubtedly the favourites for Saturday’s match, it is sure to be a battle.

And the Nerazzurri’s record at the San Siro is actually worse than their record on their travels this season.

Inter have already slipped up a couple times at home in Serie A. They lost 2-1 against Sassuolo, and drew 2-2 with Bologna.

Both of those matches were ones where the Nerazzurri had taken the lead as well.

Assisting Mazzoleni in his duties will be Eugenio Abbatista.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
