The agent of Villarreal defender Juan Foyth believes that the 25-year-old would be a viable target for Serie A giants Juventus or Inter Milan.

The former Tottenham Hotspur defender’s agent Claudio Curti spoke to Italian broadcaster SportItalia. He gave a not-so-subtle message regarding the player’s availability.

In the past couple seasons, Argetnine international Foyth has been an important player for Villarreal.

The defender joined the Yellow Submarine in the summer of 2020 from Tottenham. He did so on loan initially.

Then, in the summer of 2021, Villarreal signed Foyth on a permanent basis.

The former Estudiantes defender had never quite worked out as a Spurs signing. But in La Liga, he has found his footing.

Foyth won the Europa League with Villarreal in 2021, starting in the final against Manchester United.

Then in the following season, the Argentine started in matches against the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool as the Spaniards reached the Champions League semifinal.

Foyth has also made eighteen appearances for Argentina. He was part of the Albiceleste squad that won the World Cup last winter in Qatar.

Agent Of Juan Foyth: He’d Be Well-Suited To Juventus Or Inter

Foyth’s agent Cuti, who has suggested him as a possible Inter target in the past, talked up his client’s talents.

“He’s become one of the most reliable defenders in Europe,” the agent said.

“And he’s a modern defender in many aspects,” he continued.

Cuti said that “He’s a player who would be well-suited to playing in teams like Juventus or even Inter.”

“This is both due to his quality and his mentality.”

“He could easily play in Serie A,” the agent predicted. “And then you’d be able to see his qualities as well.”

But Cuti does not believe a January transfer would be possible for Foyth.

“Impossible, no,” he said of a move in the transfer window next month.

“We know how important he is for Villarreal. And we know that the January window tends to be a very targeted one for teams.”

“I see it as more likely that teams will move for him in the summer window,” Cuti said.
