Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang attended the annual Inter Milan club Christmas party by video rather than in person.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

At the moment, Inter President Zhang is still in China.

The Nerazzurri President has yet to return to Italy since the start of the season. He has not attended any Inter matches in person so far during the ongoing campaign.

Zhang had been everpresent at Inter matches during the run-in of last season.

The President also regularly attended team training to speak with and encourage the players and staff.

But so far this season, it has been a bit of a different story.

Zhang has had business to attend to in China.

The Inter President has had plenty of other matters to occupy him with the parent company of Inter owners Suning.

Therefore, Zhang has yet to come to Italy this season. It is not clear when the President will make an appearance.

Steven Zhang Attends Inter Christmas Party Via Video Link Rather Than In Person

Yesterday, Inter held their annual club Christmas party.

Naturally, the players, coaching staff, and directors were all in attendance.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi was among those to speak at the Christmas party. As did CEO Beppe Marotta.

But Inter President Steven Zhang was conspicuously absent.

However, the Nerazzurri President did attend via a video link.

Zhang also spoke to those in attendance. He gave a message for the middle of the season.

The focus of Zhang’s message, Tuttosport reports, was to emphasize the importance of winning the Serie A title.

Zhang congratulated the Inter team on the very positive start that they have enjoyed to the season.

And the President stressed that now it will be important to keep that momentum up. There’s a feeling that Inter have the Serie A title in their grasp, but it won’t be easy.
