Italian journalist Fabio Santini insists Inter Milan have found an agreement with Napoli star Piotr Zielinski over a summer transfer.

The Pole is currently running on an expiring deal, leaving his future up in the air.

But after cementing himself as a competent midfielder in Serie A throughout the years, the 29-year-old’s situation caught the attention of several suitors, including the Nerazzurri.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is renowned for poaching some of the most interesting names on the free transfer market. He signed the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu and Marcus Thuram during his time at the club.

Therefore, the 66-year-old could make Zielinski his latest Bosman coup.

According to Fabio Santini, the Beneamata have already an agreement in place with the player.

Fabio Santini Says Inter Milan Found An Agreement With Piotr Zielinski

The journalist claims that Zielinski has decided to reject the contract renewal offer from Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

He also rebuffed attempts from the Saudi Pro League. Instead, he found an accord with Inter over a four-year contract.

“I can say that Inter have already signed Zielinski,” claimed Santini during his appearance on the Calciomercato.it Twitch channel via FcInter1908.

“The footballer said no to a mega offer from Saudi Arabia and to Aurelio De Laurentiis’s constant calls for a contract extension. Instead, he said yes to Inter.”

“The contract will be for two years plus another two. He will earn 3.5 million euros plus bonuses in the first two seasons. The other two years will be defined.

“We’re now at the home stretch for Zielinski to Appiano Gentile.”
