Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard has reportedly overcome his injury after resuming training with his teammates on Friday.

The Frenchman joined the Nerazzurri in the summer, finalizing a transfer from Bayern Munich toward the end of August.

The 27-year-old swiftly established himself as a regular feature at the back in Simone Inzaghi’s starting formation. He made six appearances in Serie A and three in the Champions League.

However, he has been out of action since sustaining an injury in Bergamo on the 4th of November.

Nevertheless, the defender’s return to the pitch is looming ever closer.

According to FcInter1908, Pavard underwent the whole training session with his Inter teammates on Friday. This suggests that the player is now fully recovered.

In the meantime, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have to make some assessments before deciding on whether or not to call up the 2018 World Cup hero for the Lazio clash.

The Nerazzurri will travel to the Italian capital to take on Maurizio Sarri’s men at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night.
