Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi hails summer signing Yann Bisseck who managed to earn his trust with his recent impressive displays.

The 23-year-old made the switch from Danish top-flight side Aarhus to the Nerazzurri in the summer.

But despite the major step-up in quality, the German is proving to be up for the task.

Bisseck initially struggled for playing time but has been earning more minutes due to injuries at the back, especially the absence of Benjamin Pavard.

The Germany U21 was once again a starter on Sunday night. He helped the Nerazzurri secure a clean sheet in the 2-0 victory over Lazio.

Therefore, Inzaghi praised his defender’s display at the Stadio Olimpico. The manager admits that the young defender has now won him over.

“Bisseck’s teammates are helping him a lot, but he’s also making himself a favor with the way he is playing at the moment,” said the coach in his post-match interview with Inter TV via FcInterNews.

“My technical staff and I have faith in him. He must continue to work in this way.”

Inzaghi also applauded the team’s overall display following the 2-0 victory over his former employers. He praises Inter for sticking together through thick and thin.

“We have always been a solid group even in suffering. We must win matches like these throughout the campaign.

“The matches have different moments. At times we have to remain compact and defend well. We broke the deadlock and from there on, it went uphill.

“We were always in the game, always focused and we managed to earn a victory against a team of great value.”
