Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid will lock horns in the Champions League Round of 16. UEFA has now released the dates of the clashes.

On Monday, the draw pitted the Nerazzurri against the Spanish capital side in the upcoming round of the competition.

The Italian giants finished second in their group behind Real Sociedad due to an inferior goal difference. This earned them a meeting against one of the group winners.

While they might have avoided the likes of Man City and Bayern Munich, Inter still have to negotiate their way to the quarter-finals in a tough double-header against Diego Simeone’s band.

In the afternoon, UEFA has released the dates of all Round of 16 meetings.

The Serie A leaders will host Atletico in the first leg at the Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday, February 20th.

This will be a homecoming for Diego Simeone who represented Inter as a player between 1997 and 1999.

This fixture will coincide with a meeting between PSV Eindhoven and Borussia Dortmund.
