Former Nerazzurri defender Daniele Adani feels Inter Milan’s advantage over Juventus in the Serie A doesn’t fully reflect their superiority.

Adani spoke to Italian broadcaster RAI Radio, via FCInterNews.

Inter solidified their grasp at the top of the Serie A table this past weekend.

First, Juventus slipped up on Friday. The Bianconeri dropped points against Genoa.

This gave Inter the opportunity to extend their lead at the top from two points to four. But they had a tough Lazio team standing in their way.

And the Biancocelesti lived up to the billing.

It was certainly one of the tougher away matches that Inter have had all season in the Italian capital.

But in the end, Inter got the job done.

This has certainly solidified the impression that the Serie A title is Inter’s to lose this season.

There is, of course, more than half a season to go still.

But Inter now have a buffer of more than one result against their closest rivals in the table.

And in the view of Adani, even that is not sufficient to really demonstrate the degree to which Inter have been the strongest team in the league up to this point.

Adani: Inter Gap Vs Juventus Doesn’t Fully Reflect Superiority In Serie A

Adani gave the view that “The four-point gap doesn’t fully reflect Inter’s superiority.”

He continued that “Inter have fully shown that they are stronger than any of the other teams in the league.”

“The strongest teams don’t always demonstrate this,” he noted.

“It’s the pitch that gives definitive verdict.”

Adani noted that “Inter deserve credit for following up every week.”

“They have a certain awareness of their quality. This means that they know how to open up a match, and how to close it.”

“That had been the case even in Naples, something only a great team can do.”

“Inter always creates more chances than they concede,” Dani suggested.
