Inter Milan have made their initial offer to Club Brugge for Tajon Buchanan .

Sky Sport Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri have offered €6 million whilst Brugge want €10 million.

Inter are now moving at full speed in their pursuit of Buchanan.

It is no secret that the Nerazzurri want to sign a right-wingback next month. The absence of Juan Cuadrado for the next three months is leaving the team looking very thin on the ground on that flank.

Moreover, Inter are prepared to invest a substantial sum in a position where the long-term future of Denzel Dumfries is also in question.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri will go after their first-choice target for the role.

And that target is 24-year-old Canadian international Buchanan.

The Brugge wingback has been on Inter’s radar for a while. And there had already been a move for Buchanan lined up for next summer.

But with Cuadrado out, the Nerazzurri will go all-out to sign Buchanan next month.

Inter Make Club Brugge First Offer For Tajon Buchanan

According to Di Marzio, Inter have taken the major step of making a formal offer to Brugge.

The Nerazzurri have been preparing this offer for days now, with their interest in Buchanan no secret.

Inter have the approval of President Steven Zhang to make an investment in signing the 24-year-old. And the timeline is not a long one. Inter want to sign Buchanan as soon as possible.

The Nerazzurri could aim to bring the Brugge winger in the first few days of the transfer window.

And to this end, a formal offer has already arrived at Brugge.

Inter have put a bid of €6 million on the table.

That is not yet enough for Brugge. But it is not a ridiculous offer.

The Belgians want around €10 million for Buchanan. Therefore, the negotiations are now underway between the clubs to find an amount that both are happy with.
