Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is hoping that his best moments in an Inter Milan shirt are still in front of him.

The Armenian spoke to InterTV, via FCInterNews, after putting pen to paper on a new deal until the end of June 2026.

Mkhitaryan has already enjoyed an impressive year and a half at Inter.

Despite the fact that the former Arsenal, Manchester United, and Borussia Dortmund was already 33 when he joined the club from Roma, Mkhitaryan has shown no sign of slowing down.

Mkhitaryan has already won two trophies with Inter. He helped the club to both the Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia last season.

Mkhitaryan was also a key starter on the way to the Champions League final.

And this season, the 34-year-old has been a vital player as Inter push for the Serie A title.

But in the view of the player himself, he hopes that this is just the beginning.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan Hoping More Great Things To Come At Inter

Mkhitaryan noted that “I’ve experienced many good moments.”

“But I would like for the best ones to be still to come in the next few years,” he continued.

The 34-year-old said that “I have big goals with this club,”

“I don’t want to talk too much now, but I hope that I can later.”

The veteran midfielder made clear that “I’m still growing and I don’t intend to stop.”

“I’ll grow more every day, every minute. The best thing is to learn every day from my teammates, by training and playing with them and improving every day.”

Of the love from Inter fans, Mkhitaryan said that “It means a lot.”

“it means that you give something to this team and work hard.”

“But I don’t want to stop,” the Armenian said. “I want to move forward and make the Inter fans even more proud.”
