Legendary former Nerazzurri midfielder Evaristo Beccalosi feels that Inter Milan have been doing great things for the last four years.

The former midfielder spoke to Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, in an interview published in yesterday’s print edition.

The past few seasons have certainly been memorable ones for Inter.

The Nerazzurri have won the Serie A title, two Coppa Italia trophies, and the same number in the Supercoppa Italiana.

In the meantime, Inter have reached both the Europa League and Champions League finals.

And the Nerazzurri are currently top of the Serie A table. That after they finished second and third in the previous two seasons.

Clearly, it has been a positive few seasons for Inter.

And now the Nerazzurri will hope to build on it with at least one or two more trophies.

Inter are out of the Coppa Italia this time around. But they do have the league, the Supercoppa Italiana, and the Champions League to fight for in the second half of the campaign.

Beccalossi: Inter Have Done Great Things In The Past Four Years

Over the weekend, Inter drew against Genoa, the second time they’d dropped points away in Serie A this season after facing Juventus.

It was a stumble in Inter’s title pursuit. But Beccalossi is not worrying too much about it.

“It can happen,” the former midfielder said of the Nerazzurri’s slip-up in Liguria.

“Inter have been doing great things for four years,” he noted.

“Furthermore, compared to in the past, the new arrivals settle in immediately,” Beccalossi noted.

“It seems like they’ve been playing for Inter for years,” the former midfielder noted.

He called this “A sign of excellent corporate organization.”

Inter currently sit two points ahead of Juventus in the Serie A table.

The Nerazzurri are just one match away from the halfway point of the league season.
