Inter Milan should complete the signing of Tajon Buchanan and make the official announcement of the Canadian’s arrival on Thursday.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908.

Inter are not waiting around to sign Buchanan as cover on the right flank.

The Nerazzurri have been in direct negotiations with the 24-year-old’s club Brugge for a number of days now.

Considering the absence of Juan Cuadrado as well as continued fitness issues for Denzel Dumfries, Inter want to get Buchananan in right at the start of the January transfer window.

That way, the Canadian can start to settle in immediately.

Inter have been hoping to have Buchanan in their squad for as early as next weekend’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.

And according to the FCIN1908, there is now a very good chance of that.

Inter To Announce Tajon Buchanan Signing On Thursday

Inter have now essentially sealed the agreement with both Brugge and Buchanan.

In terms of a transfer fee, the Nerazzurri will pay the Belgians around €7 million to sign Buchanan.

This could rise to around €10 million with add-ons.

And on the player’s end, the 24-year-old is ready to sign a contract until the end of June 2028. This would see him earn around €1.5 million net per season.

With the January transfer window now open, Inter have totally lined up Buchanan’s move.

Therefore, the only thing left would appear to be the final formalities.

The first will be medicals on the move.

Buchanan will be in Italy tomorrow in all likelihood. He will undergo his medicals the following day.

And following this, the Canadian international can sign his new contract with Inter.

Then, Inter will get ready to make the official announcement. It will be time for Buchanan to pose with the shirt and begin his adventure as a Nerazzurri player.
