Inter Milan midfielder Lucien Agoume is considering loan offers from the likes of Sevilla and Marseille.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the next few hours will be decisive for the Frenchman’s future.

One thing that is clear is that Agoume’s future is not at Inter.

The 22-year-old stayed at the Nerazzurri during the summer despite the fact that it had looked virtually inevitable that he would leave, either on loan or on a permanent transfer away.

Agoume had spent each of the prior three campaigns out on loan.

The Frenchman had been at Spezia, Brest, and Troyes.

But in the end, Agoume remained at Inter for the first half of the season. And it would be an understatement to say that the young midfielder has not received much playing time.

Agoume has received a total of four minutes, off the bench away to Salerntiana.

Therefore, a move away in January always looked to be an inevitability.

Inter Midfielder Considering Sevilla & Marseille Loan Offers

A number of clubs in Europe showed interest in Agoume this month.

But it looks to be two in particular that have stood out.

Sevilla have made an offer to sign Agoume on loan for the rest of the season. This would then contain a purchase option at the end of the campaign.

But Marseille have rivalled Sevilla at the start of the January transfer window.

The Ligue 1 side want a midfield reinforcement given that some key players will be missing during the African Cup of Nations.

Both teams have made their interest clear.

And Inter have spoken with Agoume’s agent Djibril Niang, and intermediary Oscar Damiani.

The Nerazzurri have made clear that they would be happy to accept either Sevilla or Marseille’s offer.

Therefore, it will all come down to what the player himself decides.
