Canadian international wingback Tajon Buchanan will be ready to play for Inter Milan against Monza on Saturday.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter completed the signing of Buchanan last Friday. However, the Canadian was not able to play a role in the next day’s match against Hellas Verona.
But the 24-year-old won’t have to wait long to make an impact.
Inter face another Serie A match in just a few days.
And Buchanan has been getting ready to potentially play a part in that match. The Nerazzurri travel the short distance to face Lombard rivals Monza on Saturday evening.
Tajon Buchanan Ready To Play For Inter In Serie A Clash Vs Monza
There would be virtually no chance of seeing Buchanan in the starting eleven against the Brianzoli.
The Canadian will not have been on a football pitch in over a month when Saturday’s match comes around. He has not featured in several matches for Club Brugge.
But Buchanan is working to get up to speed in training.
The 24-year-old is currently in Belgian where he is getting the last bureaucratic details of his transfer from Brugge to Inter out of the way.
Buchanan is receiving his official residency permit.
But in the next day or two, the Canadian will be back in training. He already completed one training session yesterday, his first as an Inter player.
And with a couple more days to get up to speed in training, Buchanan can certainly play a part against Monza on Sunday.
The 24-year-old will have a potential chance to play off the bench.
Whilst Buchanan will have to wait to make his debut in front of the home fans at the San Siro, he could get his first taste of Serie A action already.
