Inter Milan new signing Tajon Buchanan will be in the squad against Monza while Federico Dimarco rejoins the starting lineup.

The Nerazzurri bought the Canadian winger from Club Brugge last week as a direct replacement for the injured Juan Cuadrado.

The 24-year-old had to fly back to Belgium to complete some paperwork.

But according to Tuttosport via FcInter1908, Buchanan will land in Italy for the second time between this evening and tomorrow morning.

The right wingback will join his new teammates in preparation for Saturday night’s encounter against Monza at the U-Power Stadium.

The Turin-based newspaper doesn’t expect Buchanan to be in Simone Inzaghi’s starting lineup. However, the source does tip to player to make his debut for Inter off the bench.

Denzel Dumfries remains the coach’s favorite option for the right flank. The January signing would have to prove his worth for the Serie A leaders if he aspires to usurp the Duthman in the pecking order.

On another note, the source expects Inzahgi to maintain the same starting lineup that overcame Hellas Verona in last weekend’s chaotic affair, except for one change.

Tajon Buchanan Should Earn His Inter Milan Debut Vs Monza While Federico Dimarco Returns To Starting Lineup

Federico Dimarco should make his return to the starting formation after earning a 20-minute cameo last weekend.

The Italy international will thus replace Carlos Augusto as a left wingback.

The 26-year-old sustained a muscle strain a few weeks ago which saw him missing out on the league fixtures against Lecce and Bologna.

Elsewhere, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will spearhead the backline, while Hakan Calhanoglu operates in between Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the middle of the park.

Benjamin Pavard should join Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni at the back.

Inter Milan Probable XI (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Martinez
