Juventus coach Max Allegri feels that Inter Milan have a team that is strong enough to win the Serie A title.

The Bianconeri coach spoke about his team’s title rivals in a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo, as reported by FCInterNews.

Inter remain locked in a title race with Juventus.

The Nerazzurri’s lead at the top of the table is currently five points. But the Bianconeri have the chance to cut that back down to two if they can beat Sassuolo tomorrow.

There is only a slim margin between the teams in terms of their points totals.

But it is the Nerazzurri who have both the strongest attack and defense in the Italian top flight as things stand.

And in the view of Juventus coach Allegri, it is still Inter who are the team built to win the title.

The Bianconeri boss has for some time been stressing this view. He has put his focus on top four for his own team, by contrast.

Whether or not this is a bit of mind games from the veteran coach, he is still sticking to it.

Max Allegri: Inter Have A Team Good Enough To Win The Serie A Title

“Inter have a team good enough to win the Scudetto,” Allegri said.

“Juventus have started a different path,” he continued. “We want to work without an obsession on winning the title in our minds.”

Allegri said that “We have to see how our young players grow, because football doesn’t end on May 25th.”

As far as the difference between Inter and Juventus this season, Allegri suggested that it’s “A question of planning.”

“This season, we’re trying to enjoy our football. The guys are still growing.”

The Bianconeri coach declared that “If Juventus have picked up 46 points, it’s because they deserved to. There’s great cohesion in the dressing room.”

Allegri said that “We know that tomorrow is an important match. There are still a lot of points left for us to qualify for the Champions League.”
