Legendary former Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic feels that his sons Aleksandar and Filip are “on the right path.”

The Serbian 2010 Treble winner spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews.

Stankovic is certainly a player with a lasting legacy at Inter.

The Serb, who had also made a name for himself in Serie A playing for Lazio, spent a decade wearing the Nerazzurri shirt.

During that time, Stankovic was a key player for Inter.

There were many highlights and trophies in Stankovic’s Inter career. But the crowning moment was undoubtedly the 2010 European Treble, an achievement in which he played a key part.

Now, the former midfielder’s two sons are also starting to forge their own paths.

21-year-old goalkeeper Filip is currently on loan at Sampdoria. He is aiming to help the Blucerchiati return to Serie A after two impressive seasons with Dutch side Volendam.

And 18-year-old midfielder Aleksandar is currently starring for Inter’s Primavera side.
