Inter Milan are still not planning to make any more signings before the January transfer window slams shut.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908.
Inter have already made one major signing during the January transfer window.
Wingback Tajon Buchanan arrived from Club Brugge.
The Nerazzurri decided to get the Canadian’s signing wrapped up very early on in the window. They signed Buchanan in the first week of January.
Inter aimed to get Buchanan into the team as soon as possible, as they saw the 24-year-old as a necessary replacement for Juan Cuadrado considering the Colombian’s lengthy absence.
But since then, Inter have been quiet in the transfer market.
The window is still open for a couple more months. So the Nerazzurri could decide to get active in the market again.
There have been one or two rumours about the Nerazzurri thinking about signing a striker. But so far, nothing concrete.
Inter Not Planning To Make Any More January Signings
And according to Sky, Inter’s plans remain the same as ever.
A surprise move can never be totally ruled out during the January window. Particularly if opportunities present themselves in the form of loans or similar deals.
But the Nerazzurri have not changed their intentions.
The club believe that the squad is where it needs to be for the second half of the season. Therefore, Inter will not be actively pursuing any new signings in the last couple weeks of the January window.
On the other hand, Sky report, a major outgoing is still possible.
That would be midfielder Stefano Sensi, who has been strongly linked with Leicester City.
There is no question that the Championship club want to sign Sensi.
But now Inter are just waiting to see whether or not the Foxes will make the decisive move for the 28-year-old midfielder.
