Napoli midfielder Piotr ZIelinski has decided to join Inter Milan on a free transfer next summer, and is ready to reject all other offers.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Zielinski’s story at Napoli appears to be ready to come to an end.

The Polish international, who joined the Partenopei in 2016, will leave at the end of his contract. His deal expires at the end of June.

Napoli had attempted to convince Zielinski on a new deal.

But those talks have all but broken down. Zielinski has rejected all the reigning Italian champions’ offers to extend his contract.

And in the meantime, Inter have sensed an opportunity.

The Nerazzurri, whose penchant for free transfers is hardly a secret, have begun approaching Zielinski’s representatives in recent weeks.

And Inter have made clear their contract offer to the 29-year-old.

Inter have put a three-year deal worth around €4.5 million net per season on the table.

And Zielinski is prepared to accept that offer.

Piotr Zielinski Ready To Join Inter – Rejects All Other Offers

According to the Gazzetta, Zielinski has not just given his priority to Inter over staying at Napoli.

The Pole has also rejected other interest.

This includes continued interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Zielinski had been a target for Al-Ahli last summer. But in the end he decided to stay at Napoli instead.

Zielinski will remain in Europe, and in Serie A this coming summer as well. The midfielder’s priority remains to play at a high level in Europe.

But the former Empoli and Udinese midfielder will not be staying at Napoli.

Inter are on the verge of pulling off another major free transfer coup by signing Zielinski.

The Napoli man will bring with him significant Serie A experience and proven quality to bolster Inter’s midfield.
